HOW I SHOOT

I don't direct your wedding. I witness it.

There is a difference between a photographer who poses you and one who reads the room — who knows that the real moment happens three seconds after the formal one, when your mother exhales, when your partner forgets the camera is there, when the music drops and your whole family becomes one.

That is where I live with my camera.

My approach is documentary at its core and editorial in its execution. I move quietly through your day, close enough to catch everything, present enough that you forget I'm working. You will not spend your wedding day being shuffled from one backdrop to another. You will spend it getting married and I will make sure nothing is missed.

For portraits, I find light. I find quiet. I give you five to ten minutes away from the crowd and I bring back images that look like the two of you actually felt something , because you did.
